Dakota Fanning walked the red carpet for the 2012 Met Costume Institute Gala, which was held on Monday night (May 7) in New York City.

She looked lovely wearing a light colored and off-shouldered tulle and organza gown with embroidered flowers made of hand stitched organza ribbons by Louis Vuitton.

Dakota teamed her gown with a pretty flower hair accessory, a matching satin clutch by Louis Vuitton, matching satin sandals, and a sparkly bracelet by Fred Leighton.

Her look was finalized with a metallic nail shade, a straight hair style, and lovely makeup.
